Handle customer data responsibly

Only add information needed to manage a genuine customer experience and send the permitted invitation. Your business must determine and document its lawful basis, provide required notices, and respect electronic marketing rules.

Before importing contacts

  • Confirm where each contact came from and whether you may use it for this purpose.
  • Explain the purpose of the invitation and identify your business clearly.
  • Avoid sensitive personal information in notes, survey questions, and free-text responses.
  • Do not use purchased contact lists or unrelated marketing lists for review invitations.
  • Read the data processing agreement and privacy policy.

A product checkbox does not establish a legal basis by itself. Review invitation content and its purpose with your adviser where Danish or EU electronic marketing rules may apply.

Objections and contact preferences

Respect a customer's objection to further invitations. Do not contact them through another channel to bypass that preference. A legitimate objection may stop delivery independently of the customer's rating.

If an invitation cannot be stopped through the available controls, contact support before sending further messages to that recipient. Do not delete a job as a substitute: scheduled invitations have an independent lifecycle.

Access, correction, and erasure

Verify the identity of a person requesting access or erasure, and respond within the applicable legal deadline. Use the account's data and deletion controls where available, and contact support for data that cannot be managed there.

Deleting a job is an operational action; it is not a complete data erasure request. Feedback, delivery records, and scheduled invitations may exist separately. Account deletion must be handled separately from subscription cancellation, and payment providers may retain records under their own legal duties.

Retention and security

Define a retention policy appropriate to the purpose of the data and any legal obligations. Remove unneeded customer information. Use your own authorized Apple or Google identity and protect access to it. Never share credentials or put provider secrets into customer records.

For privacy requests, contact [email protected]. Include the account identifier and the type of request, without attaching unnecessary customer data.
